Two yummy treats we discovered. We went to the new Costco and tried these tamarind bites. Perfect amount of sweet and spicy. And I randomly spotted plant based Babybel cheese at HEB and had to try it. It’s great! #wfpb #vegan #vegetarian #plantbased #costco #heb

So I decided to upgrade my helmet. I stuck with HJC since I figured moving up one size would be simple enough. I wore the new helmet today during my ride. I’m still deciding if I like it. It doesn’t feel looser tbh - my other helmet is M and this is L but I think there is more padding which makes it feels just as snug. My glossy black is a CL-14 and this new one - semi flat black which I love - is an i10. I’m not sure if it’s a difference between models that makes this L feel as snug as the other M. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I usually wear contacts with sunglasses when I ride but occasionally I do wear my glasses so that’s the real test - how comfortable the helmet is when wearing glasses. #motorcycles #helmets #hjchelmets #girlswhoride #motorcyclehelmet #motorcycle #womenwhoridemotorcycles

In the waiting room while my husband meets with an audiologist. Sometimes things that are annoying end up being blessings. Our doctor and the affiliated hospital system we’ve gone to for five years is suddenly out of network for our insurance. It’s a pain establishing the whole family with new doctors. But at the new patient visit I scheduled for my husband, he brought a list of concerns he’s had for years that have basically gotten shrugs from previous doctors. His new doctor took time to listen and he left with a half dozen referrals for various specialists to address his concerns. Today’s appointment is to look into his partial hearing loss in one ear, which he’s just dealt with for over a decade, with the occasional suggestion to use OTC ear wax removal. Today his hearing loss was confirmed and we’ve got a few “next steps” to take, including scheduling an MRI and getting fitted for a hearing aid. #silverlinings #primarycare #audiology #beyourownadvocate

Went for a ride today - I admit to being a bit nervous moving up to a 1200 cc bike, having only rode 250s. I almost talked myself down to getting the slightly smaller 883 with the intention to upgrade in the future, but I am glad I went ahead with the bigger bike right away. I’m very comfortable on the forty eight - size, weight, speed all a great choice for me. My garage has become very full all of a sudden, with our new bikes, along with the Rebel and the new dirt bike we got for the kids. 🙂#harleydavidson #fortyeight #sportster #sportster48 #sportster1200 #motorcycles #girlswhoride

I’ve listened to this in audible and it is wonderful. I ordered it in paperback so I can do a deeper read and highlight and make notes as I read. #christianity #orthodoxchristianity #welcometotheorthodoxchurch #personalscholar #readinglist2022

I ended up ordering transparent sticky notes off Amazon. I was a little concerned about smudging but I have tested gel roller lens, ball points, regular and colored pencils. You can see where when I made a thicker line with the roller ball be I didn’t let it dry long enough bed so it did smudge a little. But otherwise I am very happy with my purchase. the order came as a box containing several individually wrapped smaller packets, which I actually find quite helpful.
